Help Build PRESS and PULL – a Community Printmaking Workshop

We build community when we come together in the arts

At the CAC, we’re seeking your support to launch Press and Pull, a community printshop The Children’s Art Carnival in Harlem. Housed in our Hamilton Heights townhouse studio, Press and Pull will offer workshops and classes for all ages and provide local artists and printmakers with an affordable membership space to create their work.

Through our partnership with the esteemed EFA Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop, CAC has been hosting pilot printmaking classes for community members of all ages and skill levels. The response has been overwhelming. These sessions bring together families and neighbors—parents, grandparents, kids, teens, and friends—who gather at CAC to explore the art of printmaking right in their own neighborhood.

With the creation of this new community printshop, we will offer exceptional instruction led by skilled printmakers in a warm, welcoming environment and bring a vital arts resource to Harlem’s artists and families.

Join us in making this vision a reality and enriching our creative community!
