Join us on Friday, March 8th 2024, at The Children’s Art Carnival from 6:00 – 8:00 pm for our fourth Community Arts Social Event featuring artist Daniel Bonilla or as he is commonly know, Art Man Dan. Bonilla’s artistic journey has led him through explorations in many mediums including Illustration, Mural Design, Sign Painting and Easel Painting amongst other disciplines.
Community Arts Socials are weekly gatherings for artists, creative individuals to connect with each other and members of the Northern Manhattan community. These social events provide a platform for the guest artist to introduce themselves and showcase their artistic endeavors to all attendees. Artist presentations can last up to an hour, with the remaining time dedicated to fostering connections among artists and creatives. The events feature food, beverages, music, and interactive creative activities, aiming to establish The Children’s Art Carnival as uptown’s hub for artists and creatives. Moreover, the CAC Socials serve as opportunities to fundraise for the Children’s Arts Carnival.

About the featured artist: Art Man Dan
Daniel Bonilla, also known as Art Man Dan, is a talented artist from New York City with Dominican heritage. As a full-time artist, he embraces a diverse range of projects, including full-scale murals, photorealistic paintings, and playful decorative window art. His artistic journey began with a simple idea, leading him through art-based schools and culminating in a degree in illustration and computer animation. Immersed in the film industry, he learned collaborative creation as part of a larger team. A pivotal moment came with a position at Colossal Media, refining his skills and entrepreneurial vision. Daniel’s relentless pursuit of self-discovery during the pandemic further propelled him toward becoming an independent artist. Renowned in his community, his portfolio includes awe-inspiring murals and commissioned pieces. Community-based projects hold special significance for him, as demonstrated by his involvement in the NYC Department of Transportation art project. Daniel strives to breathe life into his dreams, leaving an indelible mark on the art world and sharing the joy of art with all.
