Virtual: Creating Good Vibes With Your Artist Bio
Artist Bio Workshop For Creatives Facilitated by Richard Burroughs
Class Dates: Sunday, November 10 · 1 – 3pm EST
Time: 1:00 – 3:00pm
Venue: The Children’s Art Carnival
The bio is an important marketing tool and should be carefully crafted to bring the world closer to the artist. It tells the artist’s story, building a connection between the person reading it and the artist. Unfortunately, a clumsily written bio can work against an artist. A journalist, art school, gallerist, or buyer can get bad vibes from a bad bio, so this one-day workshop will show you how to get your vibes right with a bio that works for you.
We will talk about:
- Choosing/Shooting a bio picture
- What to include in an artist bio
- What to avoid when writing a bio
- When to update your bioAnd other bio-related topics. Expect to be able to write your bio after finishing this workshop.
This event is open to the public. Online registration is required to participate. Suggested donation of $5 or pay-what-you-can. (Register with donation)
