Silkscreen monoprints are a versatile type of printing ideal for artists of all levels, typically painterly in effect and made by applying ink, crayon, colored pencil, and/or paint to a flat surface (in this case a silkscreen) and then printing them onto paper. This class will explore silkscreen set-ups, building layers of transparent and opaque colors to create unique designs, and printing procedures to produce one-of-a-kind prints that participants can take home!
