Quantum: Afrofuturism and the Seeds of Tomorrow* is an art exhibit and panel series that delves into the near future. This event is part of the United Nations General Assembly’s *Summit of the Future.* Afrofuturism—a cultural and artistic movement that merges elements of science fiction, history, and fantasy to explore the future of the African diaspora—engages directly with key themes highlighted in the UN Summit of the Future 2024. The summit focuses on global solidarity, transformative technology, and sustainable development, themes that Afrofuturist narratives and aesthetics both critique and reimagine. The event will be held at The Children’s Arts Carnival.

About the Artwork Featured in the Exhibition:**

In recent years, The Black Speculative Arts Movement and NSquare-Horizon 2045 Think Tank have brought together Afrofuturists from around the globe to engage in future projection training. The imagery produced through this training has never before been seen by the general public.
