Participants will paint on burlap. Inspired by Aleathia’s one Woman Show “Beyond Werdz” an exhibition with works on burlap at The City University of New York: Aaron Davis Hall Performing Arts Center March 17 – June 30, 2026.

A Selection of ancient symbols of Kindness will be shared. Conversation and some will share stories of acts of kindness during the workshop. Participants will paint on the textured fabric, each will unravel the base of they’re Artpiece leaving a tassel like base. Methodically unraveling is relaxing and meditative.

Leave with a reminder to display on Your wall Your symbol Kindness, which has benefits lowering anxiety, blood pressure and inspires You to act with kindness having experienced others towards You.

Colors and symbols, tell a story, the spirit of Kindness in a time worth being gently reminded reminds us to stay connected to our highest frequencies when life tests us.
