Women for Children’ Print Portfolio Fifty women artists and poets, mostly from South Africa collaborated on the theme of `Childrens Rights and Welfare’ with the intention of inspiring moral ownership and social responsibility towards the rights of the child within society. The art and poetry included in the portfolio are the result of these collaborations and as with all art and poetry represents the soul of our society and our deepest collective feelings to the present situation regarding our children.

Women for Children is made possible with funding from West Harlem Development Corporation, the Ruth Foundation for The Arts and donations from New York Film Academy and Hamilton Heights community members. The exhibition is presented by The Children’s Art Carnival.
